Hartman Income REIT Management, Inc. is proud to announce the appointment of Mark Torok as its Corporate Compliance Counsel. Mr. Torok, an attorney with over 32 years of experience, will focus his expertise on the potential merger, public offering, and/or listing events involving Hartman investment programs.
Before joining Hartman in June, 2015, Mr. Torok was instrumental in the SEC registration of Erie Indemnity Company and its listing on NASDAQ. He also designed the Sarbanes Oxley compliance program and handled SEC filings for Argonaut Insurance Group as its chief compliance officer. His wide-ranging experience also includes sponsoring and completing private placement offerings, serving as the Director of Regulatory Compliance for USAA, working as an escrow agent and fee attorney, as well as handling numerous Reg. D Offering issues for his clients while in private practice. Mr. Torok is the Amazon bestselling author of Protect and Defend, published by Celebrity Press in 2012.
